    Default Cedar Waxwing

I took this early last June out of the window of my vehicle. There was an area of brush the conservation department had killed along a lake reservoir.
A pair of Cedar Waxwings were hunting for nesting materials. Full frame plus. Added some canvas on the top and bottom to try to give it a little more
breathing room. Can't remember for sure but it must have been a little overcast judging by the iso.

Top notch, Jack. It can be difficult to capture the fine feather detail on a Cedar Waxwing, and you've accomplished it beautifully. Like the perch, pose, and very nice background.

Its a fine shot, perhaps still a little tight in the frame. I would suggest lifting the darkest plumage just a little, it looks very dense to me.

Vert nice view of this waxwing. Like the diaganol perch and the background is alright. Bird is nice and sharp.

Nicely detailed shot of this finely-feathered friend. Good comp.

Jack nice shot of this waxwing, nice details, perch and BG. A little tight of a crop for my taste though.
