    Nice to see the chick and adult together. A little more tighter of a crop might be nice.

    Really nice Dan, the colour palette is very eye catching. I think you tried to get the entire reflection (?), I like it any way, i don't think it hurts just to have the head part missing. Having said that i think John has a point, if the whole reflection isn't there why not crop in tighter.
    I think your exposure is spot on and I have just noticed the juvenile had orange legs vs pink on the adult. I think the image is informative and entertaining.

    Great poses from both birds, and yes, the different colors of legs are interesting. Habitat is nice and background colors lovely. I could also do without the reflection, even if cropping it out would produce a squarish presentation. One of these days I'll have to get back to Moss Landing; a special place.
