    Nice shot Geoffrey! I like the bird's pose and its HA is perfect. I'd be tempted to increase the exposure on at least the BG as it feels drab as presented. Some NR would help as well.

    Flat light did not do you any favors... exposure is fine but image lacks some pop.

    Solid portrait. The light is what it is. Nice seperation from the background.

    I personally like the flat lighting conditions, and the image overall. What I do not like as much, and nothing you could have done about it, is the Snowy Egret being in well-worn condition.

    Thanks Daniel. This Snowy was in the midst of grooming and when he or she looked up for a second, click. Good observation Daniel, and this egret knew it needed some cleanup / beautification.
