Cropped to feature that lovely crest and cut out the shaded lower parts.
H&S to remove a blue cast in the shadows and a red cast (rock reflection) in the lower body.
De-saturated the blue BG and a little bit of NR.
Dodged the eye to bring out the iris.
Light sharpen on the bird.
Wicked bird in what seems to be strange habitat. The image is well-processed. Bummer that the bird is looking out to sea.

Quite a bird. Side lighting made it tricky, and some of the brightest areas seem to be on the edge. A slight head turn toward you would have helped, but might not have shown the remarkable crest so well.
