This brave little Skimmer had been comfortably snuggled up with sibling and parent, when he decided to take a walk. He set off on his own to explore the vastness of Nickerson Beach. After he had gone perhaps 15 feet he decided that was far enough, and scurried back to his family. Full width, cropped to pano.

I love the title and the story.
Great crop and I like the kicked up sand.
Interesting mono chromatic palette which I quite like.

Bill the Pano crop emphasizes the travel this little guy has ahead of him, I like the muted colors also.

Great crop, excellent details/exposure/sharpess, and I love the particles of sand behind the bird. Great, Bill! Congrats!

Pano crop is nice. The angle is right on. Like the sand being kicked up by the feet.
