This is nice... Eye really glows and colors are very attractive.
PP looks good on this one.
I would take some off the top.

Beautiful image and bird Colin. Whites look great. Just a little large in the frame. Definitely more room in the front and my personal taste would like more in the rear. Just don't like to see an image squeezed. TFS
Good solid image of the egret.
Whites look good. I am OK with the blue in the whites create by the shadows but you could try to get rid of a bit of the blue if so inclined!
I might raise the shadows on the legs /feet and yes to a crop from the top ,

Very nice pose and details. On my calibrated monitor I think the blue looks oversaturated considerably and would like to see this with less blue
Love the sharpness in the eye and the fine feather detail. And yes, this could do with a tad less blue, especially (if only) in the shadow on the back; lifted shadows at feet; a bit off the top, bit more room on the sides. And you might even add just a little more to the bottom-- those feet are just too far down in the frame for my taste. Very nice image.
Neat bird and sharp. Send one to FL :)
Yes to a bit more on the bottom and to pulling the curve up. That would reduce the intensity of the BLUEs. The biggest problem for me is that the bird's head is turned a good two degrees away from us. One to two degrees toward us is ideal ...

Nice view of this egret. Like the blue water background. More room below.
Thanks for the comments. I forgot to mention that due to my not paying attention the image needed significant rotation so the crop was as large as available for vertical.
I might try a horizontal crop for a later post.
Artie if I come across a dead one I will mail it to you
Thanks for the offer Colin, but I am confused by this Artie if I come across a dead one I will mail it to you
