I bet your heart was pumping fast John! I get the impression the image may have been underexposed and is there a slight magenta cast? I think perhaps consider removing blue magenta and purple from the bear helps.

Hi John ...lovely sighting and do like the strolling bear in the bright grass and the darker backdrop . Lovely soft fading colors from FG to BG , giving a nice depth to the image.

I am with John about the bears colors ... but do not see a magenta cast . Even the eyedropper in PS does find magenta .

What is a medium crop for you John ? I think the IQ has suffered from that cropping as there is not much fine detail in the image and it lacks sharpness .

Thanks folks. Yes raw was underexposed. Don't see any magenta. This is 35% of the original.

Hi John .... this is quite a large crop from my personal understanding , really pixel bashing and not that ideal in terms of IQ output . I would normally never exceed something like 60 % of original .

I meant this is 35% cropped off of the original. So 65% of the original is present here. Not cropped down to 35%. Sorry about the wording there.

Hi John, the image isn't sharp and the crop & lightening of the image hasn't helped. To get a better WB you need to go warmer on the WB and it needs a bit more Magenta in the Tint before any colour management. These would be great subjects to move to John from the Deer.
