Good looking flash work; image would have been totally flat without it. Details, sharpness, and exposure look really good across the bird, but he is really tight in the
frame. I would loosen the crop if possible. A bit of action - even a raised foot - would have helped, but there's nothing you can do about that now.

Good solid image of the plover.
I shoot these guys a lot and have never thought about using fill flash on dull days- something to think about!
Nice low POV .
I would clone out the 2 drops on top of tail. They don't really add anything to the image .

Noise Reduction is not needed. I applied a tiny bit on the background just in case

Nice image. I like the your use of the the flash on this image. I know leg bands are important for research and management, but I like that it is not banded. The majority of the ones I see are.
