    Found a pretty cool spot for shooting Cliff Swallows. This is a new species for me so I was happy to get a few keepers.

    Canon 1D MK 111 / Canon 400 5.6 / 1/1600th @ f5.6 ISO 400

    Great find, very cool pose, I particularly like the fanned tail. The catchlight looks a bit big for my taste. Thanks for sharing!

    Agree with Axel about the eye. The rest is great. Very good timing as said above.

    Great pose David, and a tough capture to be sure. Agree about the catchlight. On my monitor the head looks a little over-processed.

    Sick! How big a crop. Might try the middletones a shade darker...

    Hi Artie, Thanks! This is about a 40% crop unfortunately. I would like less of a crop but it is tough to get more of these guys in the frame.
