Hi folks .... maybe too many lions at the moment , but i could not resist posting as i think too many images from Sanjeev .... LOL . Just kidding
Got the good chance for this image in Botswana last year in the Khwai concession , we found this lioness with three cubs and no pride around for one day . We saw them in early morning and left them for lunch break , they did not move until the evening . Next day they where gone .
Canon EOS 1Dx

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2019 ; slightly cropped for comp . Wish i had upped the Iso slightly for more DOF .
Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous posting .
Andreas, so glad you posted this, don't know why it took you so long
Composition is great and POV is superb, nice view of those little ones feeding. Colours look natural and some lovely textures in the fur.
Techs look good, I do understand your desire for more DoF but for me not really an issue as the faces are sharp where it matters.
Love the expression from both cubs, wonderful timing! Nicely dealt with relatively busy BG in processing. I would be very happy to have this in my folders Boetie, thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Andreas -- A very special moment and a superbly framed image. It sometimes becomes difficult to frame such moments or have any sort of angle to do so, but you had that view and have framed it brilliantly. I liked the colours and those finer details are every bit there.
Such a treat to watch .
