    Default Juvenile Spotted sandpiper

I made this image in a beach near Utah Lake.

A little bit off sun angle. I was on my belly, crawling through gravel to get close to these guys.

I was initially on sun angle but this little guy climbed the rock while foraging which was to my left and I did not have time to move so I waited for him to turn a little towards me.

    Camera Settings:-

    Nikon D500, 600 f/4 +1.4x TCIII

    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
Cropped from top left to level image.
Nik 25-25 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity

    Dodge selectively
Cloned few spots on the foreground.

How good is that, perched on that rock is so much better than if it was wading. You may be off the sun angle but it has covered all of the bird.

Bird looks perfect. Nice pose do find bottom distracting may crop out the brown edge and lighten up the dark line of the water.I think you lucked out on the rock great capture. TFS

Krishna, i like the low angle - good to note you're crawling about! I like the pose and the rock. My only suggestion would be to lower the luminosity slightly in yellow, better detail is revealed in the legs and also slightly in the white plumage.

Low angle is spot on. Love that blue water. Light looks very nice as well. Nice pose and perch.

Wonderful light and detail. I like the pose and perch. I think you could get rid of the brown area at the bottom of the frame and still have enough contrast in the out of focus foreground.

Wow I love this Krishna! I love the "perch" and the perfect head angle. Nice light and colours. I would echo Moe about the brown below though - try a "browser crop" with it out and see how much cleaner the image becomes.

Thank you all for the comments.

Below is a report with different crop. I took some canvas at the bottom.

I love this frame. Cutting off bottom between two posts was good move. My thing for shorebirds is sharp face and feet, and this checks both of those boxes. Lighting is perfect. I'm all about full saturation on blues, so this sits perfectly with me.
