    Hope everyone has been well!!

Here is one of my favorite frames from my fantastic trip to Australia last November. I posted a vertical of this guy with the wings up a few months ago so here is a landscape with the wings out.

This frame wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for my friend Ian McLachlan who was a gracious host and took me out to shoot these beautiful and majestic eagles.

    Hope you like him

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

This would be an incredible frame if only it were sharp!!! Nicely done Dave! The action is excellent, the whites are controlled, and the bird's pose is picture-perfect.

    Pretty funny Doug!!
It looks good here but the master TIFF is crazy sharp and looks amazing on a large high res monitor or our 4k Frame TVs. Thanks again

Thanks so much Ann for the awesome comment!!

you must have a blast! love the exposure and tack sharp, If mine I'd make it a touch warmer, the only way to improve this is if it had caught a giant fish

Nitpicking such a nice image, but the water is so nice, I would not mind
a bit more room around, above and below.

Terrific shot, for me the water is too dark and blue, I appreciate that may well have been precisely as it was, the bird looks outstandingly good. Raising colour temp slightly in ACR brings out the colour in the wings and lessens the inky blue.

Really like that blue water. The trailing water of the fish is great. Spot on.

    Great frame! Nice and sharp.
    Great exposure on the whites.
I might warm the image up very slightly but otherwise a great image. Would be a great banner picture if you are on FB!

    Thanks Johnathan,

Yes, the water was actually this dark blue in the Southern Pacific Ocean. It was deep water off of the island giving this beautiful look.
I will try increasing the temp a bit and see how it looks.
    Thanks for your thoughts
