    Taken under overcast skies and the cloud forest canopy.
    iso 6400, 500mm PF, f7.1, 2500th, fill flash at -3, D500.
    iso is high because I was also taking BIF shots. 60%full frame, handheld

    The woodnymph looks great.
    I am OK with the eye because this is "rainforest "photography. Your flash use looks good.
    I am having trouble with the OOF perch and bend in branch on the left.
    I would crop in tighter from the left. It would get rid of some of the OOF perch but not the "knob".
    It would be relatively easy to "shave" some of the knob down but all depends on your ethics re: cloning.
    Overall, a nice image.

    Nice image of the the bird, the habitat is what it is, I would try to tame the greens in the BG.

    Hey Moe, gorgeous bird, nice fill flash. I do not know this species but i am wondering if the blacks need to be more robust? The head looks grayish and the primaries if they are supposed to be black look washed to my eye... I might try a vertical crop, you have a beauty here.
