Hi folks this Kamtschatka Brown bear was looking shortly into my direction while searching the Kambalnaya River for salmon .... fully concentrated on his business .
All of a sudden he stopped and looked at me or somebody else behind me ..... might have moved and got his attention . I was placed right on the river bank ..... . But no problem for the bear .... and after a second for me , too , LOL. After this .... he continued his business .
Always special moments with a bit of adrenaline .

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2019 ; slightly cropped for a cleaner edge on RHS .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting

These are the moments we cherish Andreas, love the look this young bear is giving you, the rear hunting bear adds to the story as well.
    Excellent techs and overall detail.

Fine, Fine, work Andreas , I loved the framing and the details in your subject are exceptional. Very nice field work and PP work as usual. I have seen folks going oversharpened with the wet coat but no issues whatsoever in your images of this area and subject. Very nicely done.

Fantastic detail, sharpness and eye contact! Love the curious pose and the other bear in the BG.

    Excellent work Andreas,

Superb techs, I am happy with DoF and love the way the subject stands out against the background. In fact like a lot of things about this fame, Boetie. Colours look great, Lovely detail in those eyes and such nice textures in the fur. Pose and eye contact... priceless. The presence of the other bear adds to the story.
I know you've posted lots of nice bear images, but to me this is one of the best I have seen from you. It just works! Congratulations

    Kind regards,

Andreas this is what I associate with your images!
This one is rinky tinky good! You can't help but be mesmerised by the eyes - what's he going to do? I bet you had a little moment there didn't you The details are great, the expression priceless and I just love the ghostly bear in the background - what a shot well done.
