    Created at the Sarasota County Florida Landfill, otherwise known as the dump.
    Canon 20D, Canon 500 F4 IS + 1.4X teleconverter.
    Exposure was 1/1250th @ F5.6 set manually.

    Great pose John! Perch isn't too bad. The bird itself looks a little bright for my tastes. Maybe try toning it down a bit?

    I really like the pose and details. I agree regarding brightness and would prefer a lower angle.

    Hi John,

    What a lovely pose, details and colors. The pink looks very good with the blue BG. When did you take this image? that same day we were at Venice?
