    Here is another shot from the SoCal peregrines, very few passes and little action but I managed a few... The rocky BG and low light (heavy over cast) makes it very challenging to grab focus on these birds, the D5 AF really shows itself in situation like this where it picks the bird from the BG really fast in that critical instant and holds on pretty well. I'd say the chances of getting this with my old rig was almost zero. Combined that with the high ISO performance and the D5 leaves little to be desired...stay tuned for a one-year review



    D5 and 600E FL f/4 1/3200sec ISO 2500 hand held and processed with C1P. Hope you like it

    Nice flight angle and the usual eye contact you seem to always get...
    I ave never seen these birds but this frame seems like it could use a bit
    of saturation?

    You're killing these shots Arash... So crisp, 3-D quality and the falcon really stands out from the soft BG, terrific!

    Spot on as always. The dorsal view is great and i like that background.
