We had some decent light today, so I tried out the 2X, not easy, as yet, to lock focus, but I am impressed with the IQ at 800mm, handheld. ACR and PS2019, about 20% cropped from the original.
Lovely light and bird. And sharp. The far wing position and the position of the horizon line are both less than ideal.
with love, artie

Hi Will,
Looks like you are having a blast with the new gear. Thanks for the PM and I sent a reply back.
Exposure on whites looks good and great HA.
I like the light, the blues of the ocean and the IQ.
I agree with Artie re: wing position,

What nice light you had, and a fine capture for the theme, William. Looks as if the 2X didn't disappoint. Excellent detail and the whites holding up nicely.
