    A male Red-rumped Parrot in early morning light.
    1DXII 600mm F/4L III 1.4X III 840mm 1/640 f5.6 iso800 HH
    Cropped from horizontal near FF
    Inconveniently there was a branch behind the head RHS. Hopefully removed successfully!

    Colin, beautiful colors on this parrot with nice details. If it were mine I would crop out the bottom where the branch intersects the bird and maybe add a little more room on the right if you have it.

    I love the colors of the bird.
    My big issue with this image is that you cut off the toes.
    I also think you needed to be at F8 or 9 for better DOF.
    Your cloning is pretty good but I could tell right away ( I have eagle eyes when it comes to cloning work!) that you had removed something.

    what a colorful pallet nice details, there is some banding noise in the BG. I agree that would have been better to have the feet in or just go for a head shot
