    Default Impressionistic Image Utah Lake

    Attached Images Attached Images

    I made this image in Utah Lake last weekend. Image was taken at Mid day

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D850, Nikon 28mm f/2.8 + 10 STOP ND
    5 sec; f/11; ISO 400
    Manual; Matrix metering
    Manual Focusing

    This is composite of 2 exposures. First was taken handheld (to get soft blur on foreground) and second on the tripod. I blended the soft feel of the first image on the foreground.

    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
    No Crop
    Nik 25-25 Filter at reduced opacity on Foreground
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Burn and Dodge selectively
    Cloned couple of cars in the Middle of Image in Background
    Removed color cast on the clouds.

    Let me know your thoughts and comments.

    Thanks
    Krishna

    Very nice. It does indeed look like a painting. The composition is spot on as well.

    I reallylike this scene Krishna! The blurred foreground plants look great! In the distance, just right of center, I see a straight white line...a cellphone tower perhaps? I would suggest removing that from the image.

    I like the reeds in the foreground Krishna. This is what really drew me into the frame.The green in the water is nice. TFS.

    Great idea Krishna and I like the result. I have a suggestion but it maybe entirely contrary to what you want but how about brushing the sky and mountains with a little Dehaze?
