Hi all a second one from the Niederhorn mountain , this time a younger one making its way to the rest of the family .
It was taken in early evening with some cloud cover and still su peeping through the clouds ... he /she was moving slightly under my self so i was ending up with a somehow awkward shooting angle . Not much i could have done ....i was already as low as i could get , without falling over the rock edge .

Kept the greenery quite intense in color , reflecting the habitat quite well IMHO .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 200 - 400 IS L with TC engaged ( 560 mm )
    HH

    F 6,3 ; Iso 4000 ; 1/2000 sec ; man exp and Auto Iso

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2019n; slightly cropped ; which the BG stones would not have e been there ....

Thanks for looking and leaving a comment to the last posting
    Cheers Andreas

Andreas, though the shooting angle is steep, I quiet like this due to those amazing beady eyes and the little horns on the little one. The eye contact really makes this image!

Hi Andreas -- The shooting angle is not an issue for me as the eye contact is indeed special and the subject stands out nicely against that green surrounding. Excellent details in your subject.

I might crop from the top those whitish looking patches as it draws my eye in that area.

    nicely done.

    TFS !

The coat looks great but for you I would suggest not up to your usual standard! I appreciate you indicate a lower angle would have been difficult/impossible/dangerous but the angle is not good and sorry not keen on those rocks in the background, but great details and eyes in the ibex.

Hi Andreas, based on the techs I think this is on par with your PP, looks good to me. Shooting angle is less than ideal and I would either crop, or manipulate the top, as the rocks hamper the content.

Andreas, I suppose I am referring primarily to composition, the image looks rather like a snapshot and this is not what I associate with your images.
