    We watched this Green Heron fledge and land here on his first

    Just like me when I was a kid, a bit rough and all feet! Nice shot with good eye contact and background.

    Oh yes that awkward age! I like the whimsical look. A bit large in the frame IMO, I'm sure a bit more room top and left would work. Good call on the vertical comp.

    Nice view of this young one. Like the perch and the nice pose and view of the feet. Background is great. Yes to some more room all around.
