Krishna,
Yes they are tame, you must have had a great time choosing which bird to photograph! The first thing that is missing for me is eye contact, head angle, without that important element, this portrait doesn't work for me. Also, the amount of body you chose for your crop seems disproportionate. Very nice fine feather detail on the chest of the bird but areas around the head and where the dof falls off lose detail. I'm thinking those are water drops atop his head? Looking forward to more from your trip.

I agree with Ann for a better head angle, and crop choice. Good job with the reds here - they can be easy to blow out with this species (the soft light helped). Sharp, but sharpest on the body - there is a softness to the head feathers compared to lower on the body. I like the water drops along the top of the head.

The water drops are nice and the background is great. Too bad you didn't get a slight more of a head turn towards you. Everything would have been nice and parallel.
