Shot in local slough in Nd. I had one frame which had both birds fully but had no eye contact. I think minnow is a carp. Log is added, a set up.Processed in Dpp 4 and Photoshop. Neat image to background. Comments and critiques appreciated.

Fabulous timing and capture Kevin...Love the scene, well done. The birds look a wee bit soft, especially the chick. Was it a big crop, or maybe motion blur.

This such a great scene; the action, light, and log are all perfect. That said, I wish you had a do-over to get the adult's wings. As is, I cannot get beyond their truncation. Sharpness on adult is a bit as well. But still a very beautiful and unique capture.

I like the BG the feeding behavior and the perch! It's a real shame the adult is clipped, whites are hot on my screen

Great feeding shot, with perfect up-stretched pose from the chick. Nice log, too.

The perch log and feeding pose are great and the light too. This would have made a nice vertical easy to say that after the fact.
