    Lots of beautiful details on this little corella.
    Whites look great and the BG is very complimentary.
    I like the little bit of bug in the beak.
    F 8 was good but F9 or 10 would have made this a little bit crisper and sharper because of the DOF (minor picky point but you had the light to do it!).
    I really like how you have listed the EXIF data- we should all do it like this. Very clear and concise. I may start doing that but will list SS and F stop and ISO all on the same line. I was struck by the name of the location because my husband's name is Elwood!

    Excellent details in the dirty whites of this little guy, background color works a treat.

    hi Gail, in future ill use f9 f10 as option when doing portraits at minimum focal range, btw Elwood is a trendy city beach area in Melbourne Australia :)

    Lovely pic with nice light and detail. Nice tones throughout and love the bit of rose red near the beak. Perfect centered catchlight. TFS
