Hey guys.....I'm still on the fence about switching to Nikon. This camera would certainly be a welcome replacement for my Canon 5D and a great one to do my macro. I've done a limited search but can't find when it might be available. Any one have a good guess?

According to the Nikon US press release it "should" be available in late July. Oh yeah, since this is Nikon I should also confirm the year, actually 2008, this year.

I haven't made my mind up just yet. I want to see what Canon will do. I will really need a FF Canon or Nikon for a Thanksgiving wedding. I agree....the grass isn't always greener. But then when it is.....I just want to know how much fertilizer was used;)

Lana, if you really want to switch try calling Allen's Camera in Philadelphia.
