Grebe shot on lake in Nd.Have not seen many Western Grebes with chicks this year. Lots of grebes no chicks. Actually was driving by when I spotted this one and jumped out of the car and got down to the shore as quickly as possible. Hand held. Processed with Dpp 4 and photoshop. Comments and critiques appreciated.

This is lovely Kevin! I love the chick and the beautiful red eye. There seems to be a purple/red cast to the image but should be an easy fix in PP. The ripple intersecting with the adult's head is slightly distracting imo but not a huge deal. Good job on grabbing the opportunity!
