    One stunner after another, John

Love the framing here with all that space in front of the fawn. Background is superb, soft and smooth but retaining just enough detail so we know it's real

A beautiful portrait with good head angle, nice pose with the left ear pointing slightly forward, seems the subject is paying attention to something.

Great detail and the colours are just great, I like everything about this - thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,

Hi John, again another clean, well executed frame with great detail. The yellow 'blobs' in the BKG are slightly distracting and just blowing some colour over them to knock them back would help. Overall the light looks very even and so the actual head lacks that 'form' so it provides shape, if you know what I mean, so you could address this with some simple layer adjustments. As presented I think you were just on the cusp with the DoF, looking at the side of the mouth I think f/8 would have been better, but it's not a deal breaker.

Lovely shot John, I would suggest a select subject, select & mask ->curves/luminosity and play around to give a little more expression the fur. It doesn't need much but a little helps.
