    Default Fledging.

A Resident Eagle pair at my pond raise chicks every year but they usually fly
away the day after they fledge it seems.
This year they have stuck around for a couple of weeks.
They fly when they want and you just have to be lucky to be there at
    the right time.
I took this, this morning, the Fledgling had just taken a bath in the pond and flew by at
eye level. Wish I had a cleaner BG and a bit more room but I was happy to get this.
    They may be gone tomorrow...

Nicely done centring this guy on a close fly-by Dan. You got a fine view of both wing surfaces and an excellent tail flare to boot. I'm OK with the BG , except maybe the big tree, but the image is sufficiently powerful to overcome that distraction.

The image seems sharp but kinda grainy to me, but the pose and detail - particularly on the feet - look pretty good. The tree behind is really distracting though....

Nice view of this juvenile. More room would be nice but you already addressed that. background is what it is.
