The subject matter is very appealing especially that little chick sliding forward. Wonderful light and POV.
I wish the second chick was not visible.
I would smooth out the line created by the added canvas.
The IQ seems to be off ( seems grainy in areas with color noise). Is this a big crop?

    Kevin:

Great low shooting angle, light, that eye, and the cute chick.
Do agree that the second chick is a bit confusing visually.
As a matter of personal taste, I am not sure you needed that much negative space at the top of the frame. Water fowl often lend themselves well to more of a pano crop, esp. with such a low shooting angle.

    Cheers

The low angle is very nice as is the light. The chicks are a bonus. The composition looks fine to me.

I love the low angle and light.

When I saw the image, my eyes immediately went to the chick and at first I thought it was a snake and then latter realized the at it is a chick.

I would take some canvas at the top and make it much more of a Pano Crop.
