    I see where you are coming from here Colin. But, unless the eye is showing, I don't think it works. Not an easy shot to get the eye showing, but worth trying for.

    I can see why this is not to everyone's liking, but I can also see why you like it. I've always thought that collecting a series of this type of image featuring different species could be neat viewed together. As posted it needs a touch of CCW rotation. If ever you encounter a diving duck in a backlit situation I could see cool stuff coming out of that.
