    Here is a frame of the perched juvenile falcon, although the falcons didn't fly much there were some opportunities for perched shots against the color


    Shot with D5 and 500PF, ISO 2500 f/5.6 1/2500sec hand held processed with C1P hope you like it

    Just gorgeous! The bird and the BG are too good. A difficult one to balance in the frame and looks a bit pushed to the top. They really are a powerful bird!

    The BG here is what makes the image beautiful.
    Great IQ and nice wing spread. I love the little bits of down on the head.

    I really like the details on the bird you captured here(probably couldn't get any better)...Beautiful pose. I may try leaving more room above for the bird to look into and cropped from the bottom. I know this would have cut off the perch, but I think that would work.

    The turn and lift of head gives this fellow an inquisitive look that really brings this to life---not to mention all the perfectly exposed and focused details.

    Very nice. Love those colors in the background. The pose is nice as well.
