Hi Jon, nice one, very much like the 'hanging' perspective.

I might just balance out the exposure above the tree and to the LHS and reduce the cyan/aqua in the plumage, I think it's more of a grey/magenta, just has that hint, but also the contrast in chocking some of the darker areas, as there is truck loads of detail in there, just needs teasing out. DoF, well goes out the window with this stuff , but looks about right this time to me , albeit I still think its a tad front focusing if you have the FP on the head????? BKG adds a nice separation.

Great to see you mastering the new toy and hopefully things are on a bit more of an even keel.

    Cheers, TFS
    Steve

Great pose, great background. I can sense it balancing with the asymmetry of the overlapping wings.

I really like the Image design and the background.

Feather detail on the body are also good.

I am looking for more on the head, I may have brightened it. May be focusing was a bit off.

Krishna, the head was n focus, a faster shutter speed would not have gone amiss, the head had been brightened, as mentioned previously the light was not ideal. I am looking toward getting better images earlier in the day.

Classic upside down pose of these little guys. The background is great. Detail on the bird is pretty nice. Wish it raised its head a little more for you.

Such a fun pose! Also looks like he has some sort of pigment problem on his head (leucism, maybe). However, the head angle and lack of direct lighting on the bird make this frame tough for me. It's juts not engaging enough.

As above, very close but no cigar with the head being the problem ... It is just tucked too far under the branch. I figured that you had already lightened it ...

Like the others I like the bird, pose, BG and details but the lack of eye contact makes it a bit less appealing. Well done
