Default Juvenile Peregrine preparing for landing

Stopped by our usual Falcon spot this morning on my way to work... It is already mid July but unfortunately it was still a pretty gloomy morning, and very little activity by the Falcons during the couple of hours I was there. I only managed to take a handful of frames, including only a couple of non-static shots. And this is the only one that I think turned out somewhat OK. As always, very much appreciate any C&C...

    Nikon D5, 600mm f/4E, f/4, 1/4000", ISO 2000, monopod, C1Pro and PS CC.

Pose and details are superb. All those talons... For me the background color doesn't complement the bird so well, although it is what it is...

This is more than somewhat OK - this is pretty much fantastic. Dynamic pose, sweet BG, and some "land" in the lower right corner to anchor the frame nicely. A couple of tiny white flecks here and there that I would remove, that's pretty much it.

Wonderful dynamic capture, love the colors and yes to the pleasing land in the RHC. Those open talons and keen concentration for the landing make the image! IQ terrific.

    Hello Kambiz,

Read your intro and I think you are very modest about your work, I find this absolutely stunning!
Wonderful pose from the subject and detail is superb, the little bit of vegetation in the corner adds context, love the framing

    Kind regards,

Yes, this is wonderful, particularly the view of the feet! The BG color is so nice, and I agree the touch of vegetation at bottom left works perfectly. I would also clean up a few of the white spots, if you allow yourself to do that!

Kambiz, Your "somewhat OK" is my "simply stunning!" Great pose, super sharp, soft light, incredible details, and a killer BKGR with the blossoms in the LRG picking up the BKGR colors. Luscious!

that's the money shot now, everything is almost perfect. In a perfect world the perch would also be in the frame since the bird is landing but I take this one as is
