    This appears to be a young Striated Heron, in some gloomy light at Wonga. Would have been better if it chose a rock without that big lump in the foreground. As with Colin's recent heron, it was wary of raptors overhead.
    560mm, 1/800, f8, ISO1250, old Canon gear.

    Pretty nice view of this heron. Kinda looks like the green herons over here. The rocks are nice. I could see the exposure increased a little.
