    Hello John,

Such a sweet scene, love it! Wonderful to see interaction between mom and her tiny fawnThis image is well framed, well exposed and colours look great. Lovely detail and sharpness is spot-on.
Feel like stretching out my hand to touch the little one's face, he looks so delicate and innocent. Beautiful work, John - your passion for wildlife and photography shows in your images and I take great pleasure in viewing each and one of them

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Well you are certainly raising the bar in your recent images John, big congrats.

Nicely framed and I very much like the behavioural aspect too. Techs appear about right providing some good separation. Colours are better, but look a little flat, however not quite 'Walt Disney' thank goodness that some folk like, keep Wildlife looking reflective. Look at using the HSL panel and the L panel to add some 'contrast' in colour, but also you now need to expand your learning and explore 'Curves' a great, but powerful tool. Using the Cursor tool it will help you as you can pin point key areas of adjustment.

Again, the RP is pushed a little and probably more between the two, but I have to go further so you can see the difference.

Steve's repost has addressed my main concern. How tender of a scene - mother seemingly whispering sweet words into her fawns ear. I love the flowers at left. Do you have a bit more room above?

A fine shot John my immediate reaction was that it looked a little flat i.e. lacking tone, just read this has been mentioned so other than that I like it.
