From earlier this year, when the trees were blooming and being rather colourful. This was a setup, including audio to entice the warbler in.
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/640s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp, cleaned up the eye.
Sweet bird sweet image. I like your setothe branch has colt and space so it doesn’t distract from the pine warbler. That HA is endearing, details and BG rock Dan
well dine
Very pretty. Superb detail but just on the border being a little over sharpened. I found that sometimes adding a bit of noise reduction globally can sometimes soften this image up a bit even though it is still very clean.
I like it a lot. I am not seeing any crunchiness. There were three things that I did not like so I fixed them. Any clues?

Really beautiful image Daniel! Perfect engaging look and the red foliage is the perfect complement! Artie's changes - at least those I can spot - are minor, and I'd rather see an original image without cloning ;)
Hey Artie, yep, you cloned out the left-over "stubbies" from my pruning of extra leaves that I did to create a gap for the warbler to land on. I normally hide those in post, but for some reason did not do it here. Thanks!

Hi Dorian, Are you OK with the fact that this image was made at a set-up, that the bird was attracted using audio, and that Dan pruned some leaves off the perch? Do you ever use the Clone Stamp or other tools to remove distracting elements from an image?
