    Very very nice portrait.
    BG colors are gorgeous.
    The colors are spot on.

Terrific on all counts. As if the subject and perch were not enough, the areas of red in the BG add a lot to the image as well.

Looks great. Neat perch and a nice pose on the bird. Really digging that background.

Beautiful work Arash - just showing off now doing perched shots as well!

Interesting to see the detail and noise levels available from that combo at ISO 1600 - I had a play with Arties (and Anitas) D850 last week and the noise levels was the only thing of concern but I'm guessing that was operator error rather than anything else

The reds in the BG really make the image.. Beautiful details on the bird.

Hi Mike, the D850 does not show much noise at ISO 1600 if you use the right processing, it can deliver jaw dropping details. my work flow is explained in detail in my Capture One Pro guide which is key to getting sharp clean files that aren't grainy with both D850 and D5. Overall D850 is great up to ISO 2000 but above that D5 files are superior and retain fine details much better.

    hope this helps

Excellent portrait except the over powering perch.

Fantastic pose, detail, color, perch, and background. I will tell you that on my 32 inch monitor, I need to scroll to see the whole image.

Thanks for your kind words Moe

re scrolling perhaps your monitor resolution is set too low or it is using up scaling. The image fits on my 32” NEC with no need to scroll. It’s about 70% of the height of my screen.

Not bad for a flight photographer. And yes, the BKGR colors are sublime.

Killer image, particularly the background and foot. Bird feels a bit close to left hand edge, but I can see why you used the comp you did.
