Hi folks just jumping in for one image ....
Off to Switzerland for a short trip , taking only small gear with me. Still hope to find some subjects on the way .....but no photo trip as such .

Back to the image ....just a simple one , taken recently in southern africa .
Two white rhinos in early morning light .... just got the chance to take some shots before they disappeared in the bushes , due to disturbance by some other cars approaching .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 200 - 400 IS L with TC engaged at 560 mm
    Bean Bag

    F 7,1 ; Iso 4000 ; 1/1600 sec ; man exp and Auto Iso

Processed with DPP and PSCC 2018 ; slightly cropped for levelling .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting .

    Cheers Andreas

Nice view of this rhinos. The light is nice. Also like the one rhino's head is in sun and the other in shade. Composition looks nice as well.

Lovely image Andreas - what beautiful, golden light!

Stunning colours and textures too, nice framing. You brought out such nice detail, even in the darker areas, well processed!
Sadly, I have not seen a representative of this species that hasn't been dehorned, in a while. Very special frame and I enjoyed viewing, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,

Hi Andreas -- I liked the golden light and the fine IQ here. Though a simple pose but any image of Rhinos is indeed special. Very nice tones and techs as well. I wish the other Rhino was not under the shadow of its partner but nothing you could have done about it. Nicely done.

Everything looks very good here, except I do wish the far rhino was not in the shade (at least its face). Good low angle!
