    Great job with EXP and sharpness but with the head turned away and with the tail clipped ...

    I love the contrast of the head and background, and the design the feathers create leading back out of the frame. Sharp, bold, and striking. If not for the 1.7...

    Such a dramatic image! Exposure is perfect, but the clipped tail is the death nail, sadly. If he was looking at you, the looks would be killer....

    The clipped far wing also. Bummer, as the black BG was really super cool with this eagle.

    Nice light and shading. I expect that much noise at ISO 6400 but it is well under control. The turned head doesn't bother me as it is so inconspicuous. The clipped wing is an issue. I suppose you could always clone an extra wing part from another image.
