From a few months ago. This hungry rabbit was pulling "cheesestrings" off of a small and delicious sumac.

Truly delighted to see you posting in the Wildlife Forum, Daniel

Must say I have such a soft spot for those little ones And I know a few members here - like Stu and John, also Steve - who will enjoy your image tremendously!

Very nice framing and pose is superb. Well exposed and DoF really works well here, subject is well isolated from the BG. Beautifully processed with such lovely detail, rich colours and tones.

This is such a lovely behavioural frame, Daniel. It also makes me realise it's not easy for those little guys to find food in the winter. Very special image, I thank you for sharing, and hope you pop in to Willdife again!

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

It's an absolute gem! Couldn't ask for a better pose and also behaviour - top shot well done. A little more DOF would have been good but I am not complaining!

Lovely image Daniel, I loved the pose and the details you have managed to capture here. Very well exposed and liked the simple soft colour palette. I would have liked a some more space at the foot of the frame and also a bit more ss for the moving subject and also since you were handholding, not easy to get tack sharp images in such scenario.

    TFS !

I always enjoy your photos and this one is no exception. I really like the behavior of the rabbit stripping bark off of the branch, which I expect is about all it has to eat in the winter, while surrounded by snow. The composition and technical aspects of the photo look good to me. Great shot.
