These guys are a constant presence in Iceland, vocalizing their warning calls even when they don't seem to have a nest nearby. This one from Flatey Island last month. Full frame, nothing added or cloned.

Love the pose and BG even though slightly angled away. Petty much perfect FF composition. Congrats. TFS

That's pretty skillful getting the bird positioned so well in the full frame. The bird looks a little flat on my screen..

Light sure is sweet. Nice flight pose with the full upstroke. Really like the background as well. Always nice to get full frame flight shots.

Beautiful warning call flight capture, Bill. Great light we had as we were about to leave, but these characters kept us there with all sorts of aerobatics, and the light kept getting better.

Pretty cool. lovely light and BG. Good fully raised wing position. You could add a 10-15% additional canvas top and right for a more-than-FF image and better compositional balance IMO. Still a rather well executed image!

Beautiful image Bill. Love the detail, colours, pose and killer BG. Looks like the D500 handles noise well at that iso value (even assuming you applied NR in post)

Thank you all. David, I guess perception is a funny thing; to my eye the bird is angled just slightly toward us.
