    Default Equal Rights Female Ruddy Duck

    Thought I would post a female Ruddy Duck since I had posted a couple males. The females are quite drab in comparison.Shot in local slough in Nd. Processed with Dpp 4,Photoshop and neat image noise reduction. Thanks for comments and critiques.

    The tones in the BG and FG look real good. I like the POV and HA. I would try reducing the contrast on the bird a little.

    Nice and sharp, good colours, well balanced comp. The reflection works well despite being somewhat distorted. Although the head angle is parallel to the sensor, it would have been nice to have it a couple degrees more towards us because of the body angle. Good stuff with these Ruddy Ducks!

    Looks great. You have some very nice images from your slough. Light is sweet here and the pose and low angle are right on.
