    Hi John, nice look back pose. Bird looks good, background pretty much perfect. Looks like the bird was in the rain. Thank you for sharing.

    Beautiful frame!
    The soft light, the pose withe the spread of the tail and wings are beautiful. I think the divided background works well and so does the composition.
    I wish the bird itself was a bit more seperated from the perch and that it didn't intersect with the head. I would also tone down the highlights of the perch just above and below the bird.

    Soft light and a perfect over the shoulder look-back pose. It would require a bit of work but eliminating the part of the perch above the bird might work well...

    Good shot. I don't mind the perch above but would remove that bit of something hanging below the tail.
