Welcome aboard Ivor. It helps to have equipment and settings for better critiques. I really love this canvas overall. The concentric waves and the requisite diffraction and distortion of the neck and head moving from the upper left to the lower right of the frame is what does it for me... Two different and creative images to start with... TFS

A very stylish image Ivor The colours and the water geometry work beautifully together.

A very interesting image, neat concept. I like the presented crop. If mine I'd likely try a version with lower saturation of the yellows on the head, as well as a darker lower right corner. I still love it though, and will certainly remember it if ever I get a similar opportunity to try.

Thanks for the comments.....I see what you mean about the yellow....i can see a slight reduction may help. I do like the lighter bottom right corner as is though....for me its that contrast and 'difference' that adds to the overall flow of the image.
