Hi Krishna. Well done for getting this sharp shot! One of my "bucket list" shots is a sharp Welcome Swallow in flight. I also have tried 1/8000th sec, but they are always too far away and it's so difficult to get them sharp. I like the pose, colours and BG. Congrats!

A sharp photo of any swallow i an achievement. Nicely done. About the crop, generally the negative space would be in front of a moving bird rather than behind.

Ditto Colin. I'd opt o move the bird in the frame. Great pose and sharp enough. I remember these guys from my one visit ...

Very nicely done on the sharpness of this swift flyer!! Nice dorsal view as well. The comp, as mentioned, would be better with the swallow further back in the frame. I suspect you do not have any more canvas in front (hence the posted crop), but it should be easy to add some should you want a more artistically pleasing presentation.

Thank you all for the comments.

I agree I could have moved the bird more to the right in the frame. It would have made been better to have the negative space in front of the image.

I opted against the same and chose to present it as it was shot.

Congratulations on capturing this speedster, Krishna. Good head, wing and fanned tail positions. Very interesting and pleasing background also. Well done.

Great work capturing this Krishna----the full flare of wings and tail along with sharp focus on the eye at close range make it an outstanding image.
