    Another early morning flight from one of my resident pond Eagles..
    Currently raising 2 chicks that are going to fledge any day..

    Hi Dan. Now I'm really jealous. A killer shot indeed. Love the action, composition, detail and the BG is perfect. If only there was no shadow on the far wing...but I'd be happy to get that shot! We have Wedge-tailed Eagles here, but haven't got a decent shot yet. TFS

    Mixed light is NG. With the head in shadow whatever you did to it left it looking quite funky ...

    The pose on the bird is nice. Was the head in shadow? Looks like it has been lifted a ton. The composition is nice.
