    Lovely frame, John! Lighting look good exposure, and details on both bird and perch are really nice. Gently graded background is outstanding. The shadow from the bent twig is a bit of bummer, but relatively minor. I would loosen the crop since he is a bit cramped now (plus that will show more of that sweet BG), and I'd clone out the second small white fleck in the eye (looks like a flash as is).
