'Okay so these have to be freckles; what do you think? This was taken one late afternoon on the shore. There were two piping plovers and they would occasionally hunch and swiftly run towards each other, maybe a courtship behavior but i am not certain. It was very difficult to get two tiny feet to show and despite the dof, it wasn't enough to get the snub nose in focus. Almost full frame.

Awww braw, what a wee Beauty. The pebbles add so much to the image. Love the POV and full on HA. Critical focus point spot on. Well done Ann

What a fun shot. Love the stare, and the bird framed by the rocks.

Head on view is very neat. Like the framing with all the rocks. Freckles for sure.

Little fatty! Head-on and almost-perfectly-symmetrical view is great; it really shows his strong personality! Rocks aren't my thing but I can totally see their appeal to others. Detail and exposure on bird are great, just wish he was illuminated a bit more to make him pop on the darker rocks.
