Little Pied Cormorant

Here's another Little Pied Cormorant taken at my new location. Tried to get it at eye level as much as possible , but climbing a tree was not an option , so took a step or two backwards. Based on comments regarding a lack of detail/softness in my last post I aimed for more detail this time, including stoping down to f8. PP in ACR and PS.
7dii, 100-400@4oomm, f8, 1/25ooth sec, iso400 in AV mode hand-held. Cheers.

Pretty nice. Like the view of those feat. Two toned backgroud is a nice touch as well. The bird is nice and sharp.

Neat bird and right on light angle. It would take some time but it would be improved by completely eliminating the lower fork of the perch ... If that fits with your personal ethics.
