This bouncing fledgling just couldn't quite reach the target lizard despite wing flap and release of the lower perch. A fun sequence to witness nonetheless.

I like how there is leaves at the top and bottom of the frame. Pretty nice pose as well. I may try brightening the whole image up a wee bit, and raising the shadows

Looks very sharp and great behavior captured, but seems a little dark?

Everything about this really works together well for me David and I particularly like the richness (is that a proper technical description? ) of the colours---the whole thing gives the impression of an old Masters canvas.

Like how the bird is framed by the branches. The reaching pose is nice as well. That's some sweet light.

I lie this! I love the heron's eye looking straight at the prize. Fun how it seems to be standing on leaves that are holding up its weight. If this is not full-frame I'd be OK with a version with a bit more room above (and at right to retain the ratio).
